So I know I said when I first posted this that i would have a cleaner print made very soon... well beter two years late than never.
I give you the movie Palace. I took this my junior year in high scholl. Its a photo of the movie theater in my home town. it was orriginally buitlt in 1890 (or sometime around there) by Al Ringling who is one of the ringling brotheres who started the ringling circus. he built this theater as a standing legacy to himself and more for the people of his beloved city. The theater itself is actually a rplica of an opera house in france, and is recognized as one of the first movie palaces in america. and i miss it very much. thanks to this photo I wouldnt be where I am today. |
